Uniform
At Carrwood Primary School, we are proud to promote an active uniform that allows children to move comfortably, learn confidently and take part fully in the wide range of activities that make up the school day. Whether children are learning in the classroom, enjoying outdoor play, participating in PE or taking part in practical learning experiences, our uniform is designed to be comfortable, practical and ready for active learning.
Uniform is an important part of our school’s identity. It reinforces who we are as a community and helps children feel proud of our school.
Reception to Year 6
Children should wear:
- Bottle green jumper, sweatshirt or cardigan (with or without the school logo)
- Bottle green polo shirt
- Plain black trousers, tracksuit bottoms, joggers or leggings
- Plain black knee-length shorts during warmer weather
- Comfortable footwear suitable for active play (trainers or school shoes)
- A pair of wellies for outdoor learning and play
Non-logo items can be easily purchased from variety of retailers e.g. local supermarkets. Items containing the school logo can be purchased from:

- Children may wear small studded earrings - no other jewellery may be worn.
